This thesis is concerned with the design and analysis of the front fuselage for the F81 advanced freignt aircraft, from station 0 to station 24.
The F81 project aircraft is large advanced freight aircraft. The specifications and the design requirements are laid down in reference 2. Some leading particulars of the aircraft follow: -4000 n.mile range -0.75-0.80 cruise mach number range -390,000 lb payload. the main freight horld is a parallel section wide enough to accommodate three 8'x 8'x 20' containers side by side, together with two walkways and is tall enough to accommodate two westland "Puma" helicopters. The upper deck can used for LD-7 "igloo" containers or passengers. |
