Résumé : |
In the present study, a short skew bridge under moving loads is studied. The goal is to evaluate the impact factor for different members of the bridge when the bridge is under the application of typical design moving loads. Chapiter II gives a detailed review of literature on the subject of bridge dynamic analysis and on the progress made on the devlopment of the different dynamic allowance factor formulas. Chapiter III discusses in detail the bridge considered for the curent investigation. The finite element analysis of the bridge components, the static and dynamic idealizations of the traffic load are explained in chapter IV and V, respectively. In chapter VI, results of the static and dynamic analysis and a discussion comparing results of the present study versus those of the AASHTO CODE IS GIVEN. Conclusion and recomendations for further studies are given in chapiter VII. |
