Résumé : |
The effects on bleeding characteristics of concrete, mortar and cement paste when using ground granulated blastfurnace slag in combination with different ordinary portland cements, have been studied.
Uk portland cements from three different sources, namely hope OPC, south ferribo PC and ribble OPC have been used.
The concrete mixes were designed to have nominal cement contents from ranging 200 to 400 kg per cu.m with slag proportions of 0%, 40% and 70% (by weight).
The water-cement ratios and fine aggregate-total aggregate ratios were adjusted to give a slump of 75 + 15 mm.
The cement pastes were designed to have the same water-cement ratios as the concrete mixes.
A series of mortar mixes were also made with hope OPC with the same slag proportions as used previously.
These mixes were used mainly for comparative purposes. |
