Résumé : |
The theory nuclear magnetic relaxation has been well established since the appearance of the Boembergen, purcell, and pound (B.P.P) theory (1), where the standard procedure is to express the relaxation times in terms of the fourier transform of the relevant correlation function of the fluctuating local field. It has been found (2) that some of the most striking phenomenon of nuclear magnetic resonance are related to the motion of the nuclei themselves.
Indeed, bloembergen suggested a possible mechanism for relaxation in dilute ³He, where spins may relax via the collisional modulation of the dipole-dipole interaction between pairs of atoms. |
