The chemical composition of the leaf oil of Mouriri cearensis Hub was examined by gas chromatography (GCFID) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
Fifteen compounds comprising 92.9% of the total peak area were identified. Alcohols (80.6%) and esters of aliphatic acids (7.5%) were the major components identified with (Z)-3-hexenol (66.5%), linalool (8.8%) and (Z)-3-hexenyl butyrate (5.4%) being the most prominent. |
