The essential oil of the aerial parts of Zanthoxylum coco (Rutaceae) from Bolivia was analyzed by GC and GC/ MS.
The oil was characterized by a high percentage of santolinatriene (? 28%) and monoterpene derivatives: α- and β-pinenes (? 5% each). The other compounds belong to the monoterpene (? 5.7%), sesquiterpene (? 5%) and oxygenated sesquiterpene (? 3%) group. |
