The chemical composition of the essential oil of Piper bavinum was investigated, using a combination of GC (RI), GC/MS and 13C-NMR.
The main constituents were bicyclogermacrene (10.6%), globulol (5.7%), ledene (5.1%), α-pinene (4.4%), viridiflorol (3.5%), terpinen-4-ol (3.2%) and α-gurjunene (3.0%). |
