The essential oils isolated from the oleo-gum-resins of elephant tree or torote (Bursera microphylla A. Gray, Burseraceae) collected in Arizona were analyzed by GC and GC/MS.
The major components of the oil were β-caryophyllene (35.7–72.9%) and myrcene (0.4–14.4%). |
