La gestion d’un aménagement hydraulique en période de crue est une activité soumise à de forts enjeux ; notamment de sûreté et juridiques. Il est donc essentiel que les exploitants soient bien préparés à cette situation exceptionnelle. Fruit d’une collaboration étroite entre l’Ingénierie Hydraulique, la R&D, et le Service de la Formation Professionnelle d’EDF, le simulateur de barrage SIMBA à été conçu pour répondre à ce besoin.
The management of a hydraulic structure during a flood is an activity where there is a lot at stake, especially with regard to safety and legal implications. It is therefore essential that operators are well-prepared for this exceptional situation. The SIMBA program, the result of close collaboration between EDF’s Hydraulic Engineering, R&D and the Professional Training Division, enables the operator to practise the application of flood safety procedures under realistic conditions and to deal with various flood scenarios. |
