| Résumé : | Over the last decade, relationships between buyers and suppliers have undergone substantial changes. There has been a trend away from short-term contracting with numerous suppliers (arm's length relationships) towards greater commitment with single sourcing and with longer-term contracts (partnerships, alliances, etc), in order to reduce transactions costs and uncertainty in supply chain. Many researchers have investigated the dynamics of buyer supplier relationships (BSR). However, the interactions between relationship factors and its potential impact on the buyer supplier relationship have not yet been analyzed. In this paper, the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) is applied for analyzing the interrelationship between the BSR factors and a two dimensional conceptual model is developed for formulating BSR strategies based on the results of ISM. |
