Résumé : Multiple response problems encompass three stages: data gathering, model building and optimization. Most of existing approaches in literature don't incorporate the obtained effects of modeling stage while these results can be employed in optimization. Moreover, these approaches subjectively increase/decrease the responses to obtain more solution in interactive methods. Hence, this paper proposes least significant difference (LSD) criterion as agent of modeling stage to trade off between responses, which guides the decision makers (DMs) how to change membership function, and the criteria of modeling fitness, i.e. R2, PRESS and Adequate prediction, which guide DMs to order the changes of membership function in an interactive manner. At each iteration, the proposed method changes the membership function of each response by LSD, and solves the modified model. In practice, a decision has to be taken by the members of the management in such a manner that each individual is satisfied with the decision when a company wants to take a decision of specify quality characteristics of products. Thus, views of points of DMs about the resulted solutions of iterations are taken, and then a fuzzy group decision making approach is applied to select the preferred solution among the resulting solutions. Finally, we demonstrate our method by a numerical example and show the proposed approach is not an invalid method in comparison with others in literature. Résumé : To date, significant efforts have been made to study the theory of bilinear time series models, especially simple bilinear models. Much less efforts, however, have been made to identify optimal models. Focused on optimal model identification, this study attempts to fill this gap. Full and subset one-dimensional bilinear models are proposed and shown to be robust in achieving stationarity for all non-linear series. The parameters of the models are estimated using robust nonlinear least-square method and Newton-Raphson iterative method, and statistical properties of the derived estimates are investigated. An algorithm is proposed to eliminate redundant parameters from full order bilinear models. Résumé :
In this paper, we have developed an integrated maintenance policy for a manufacturing system subjected to a random failure and calling up on several subcontractor machines in order to satisfy a constant demand. In order to reduce the machine failure a preventive maintenance plan is made. The machine is unable to satisfy a constant demand, that's why it called upon another machine, comprising the so-called subcontractor machine, which produces at a certain rate the same type of product. In order to assure an economical objective, we have a choice between several subcontractors having some different data and to optimize the preventive maintenance plan. Two strategies are developed and optimized in this work. The first strategy, single subcontractor strategy, consists in choosing only one subcontractor among several ones. For this strategy we have proved analytically, that the choice of the subcontractor machines is conditioned by the unit lost cost due an unsatisfied demand of one product; The second strategy, switching strategy, consists in relaying on one subcontractor machine and then switching to another. An analytical study is developed in order to optimize firstly the preventive maintenance plan and secondly to determine the optimal switching date. A numerical example is developed for very strategy in order to apply the analytical results.DEWEY : 658 ISSN : 1750-9653 En ligne : http://www.ijmsem.org/OnlineJournal.do/?142.html [article] Optimal maintenance/production policy for a manufacturing system subjected to random failure and calling upon several subcontractors [texte imprimé] / Sofiene Dellagi, Auteur ; Nidhale Rezg, Auteur ; Ali Gharbi, Auteur . - 2011 . - pp.261-267.

Résumé : The most popular alternative systems to mass production at an academic level (lean manufacturing, agile manufacturing, flexible customization, mass customization...) share many characteristics. Our article identifies an extensive set of alternative practices to mass production; analyzes the classification of practices in categories (bundles); creates a questionnaire to measure the degree of use, from the items in a questionnaire validated in other researches; and verifies the adjusted goodness of the proposed scales. In order to achieve these objectives, the questionnaire was provided to 128 Spanish companies. The results allow us to identify 81 sets of practices already compared in published researches and to verify the adjusted goodness of the scales (14 in total), leaving for a future research any detailed analyses of the factorial structure of the scales with worse adjustment. Résumé : Most of the EPC projects are implemented by project oriented joint ventures. Joint ventures are means of accessing resources held by other organizations. Correct partner selection may facilitate innovations in construction technology, reduce the project's cost and time, and increase the performance of the EPC projects. This paper attempts to develop a step by step decision making model for engineering partner selection process. The problem of selecting appropriate engineering company is a multi criteria decision that has many uncertainties in its nature. The model takes into account consultant’s relationships with project stakeholders, its proposed commission fee, and its managerial and technical capabilities. The paper describes a fuzzy analytical hierarchy (AHP) model which constitutes a quantitative estimation methodology that can be used to select engineering partner for construction companies. A numerical case with a sensitivity analysis is presented to demonstrate the application of the model in real cases. The model can be used widely by key decision makers of construction companies who are looking for appropriate engineering partners. Résumé : The construction industry is subject to more risks than other businesses for its complexity and longevity. As a result, many researchers have emphasized the importance of risk management in construction projects. However, in China, due to thelack of good understanding of project stakeholders, several risks associated with construction projects and their correlation cannot be analyzed effectively. To provide a deeper insight into project stakeholders and risk correlation in construction projects, this paper first reviews the status quo of project stakeholder management in China. And then a project stakeholder network is mapped based on stakeholder theory and features of construction projects in China, and the correlation of project stakeholders' risks is also analyzed. This paper also develops an analytic hierarchy model for the project owner to analyze the correlation among their own risks and those risks attributed to project stakeholders. Finally an empirical case study is used to demonstrate the application of the proposed model. The research findings in this paper will contribute to both the practice and the research of risk management

Résumé : Over the last decade, relationships between buyers and suppliers have undergone substantial changes. There has been a trend away from short-term contracting with numerous suppliers (arm's length relationships) towards greater commitment with single sourcing and with longer-term contracts (partnerships, alliances, etc), in order to reduce transactions costs and uncertainty in supply chain. Many researchers have investigated the dynamics of buyer supplier relationships (BSR). However, the interactions between relationship factors and its potential impact on the buyer supplier relationship have not yet been analyzed. In this paper, the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) is applied for analyzing the interrelationship between the BSR factors and a two dimensional conceptual model is developed for formulating BSR strategies based on the results of ISM. Résumé : This paper addresses location and distribution decisions in supply chains where decisions for locating distribution centers (DCs) and determining the best strategy for shipping products from plants to customers through DCs are taken into consideration. The goal is to select locations of DCs to be opened and to design the network flow of products so that all customers' demands are satisfied at minimum total cost of the distribution network, while total value of locating DCs and shipping products is maximized. Unlike most of the past research that ignores availability of different transporters with different capacities and costs at each node of the supply chain network, our study takes into account different transportation modes that are available at each potential DC location as well as at each plant, and determines the fleet size on each arc of the network. Furthermore, in addition to opening and operating costs of each potential DC, the decision maker (DM) also takes into account the value of each potential DC location which is calculated through a multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) method. We develop a two-phase approach to deal with this problem. In the first phase, the decision maker scores and ranks all potential DC locations with regard to a set of criteria, and in the second phase through a multi-objective mixed integer programming (MOMIP) model final location and distribution decisions, which incorporates selection of transportation modes and their associated loads, are made. Résumé : The evolution salary is function of the rules of career development. These rules usually change if the company being observed changes. With this fact in mind, this paper presents a class of useful models for forecasting the number of workers at each grade of a given firm. The paper generalizes the results obtained in some previous papers giving, for the first time, the possibility of forecasting not only the cost of the salary but also its subdivision into its constituents parts both for the total and the unitary wage cost. The model also permits the forecasting of the future career path of the workers in each grade and also the taking in account the future gender percentage within the different grades. Furthermore, the model presented offers the possibility of considering the changes in the job pyramidal structure considering also the change of the number of grades of the studied firm. A real data application is presented in which different hypotheses of the future evolution of the labour force are shown. The related algorithm is also presented.
