| Résumé : | Considerable attention has been given to planning in academia. While most works are concerned with developing mathematical models and their computation algorithms, little attention has been given to managing the data in the planning. A new planning framework is thus presented by explicitly incorporating data management with planning decision-making processes. A numerical example of multiperiod batch process planning and a case study of a semiconductor manufacturing company are presented to illustrate the applicability of the presented framework. |
