| Résumé : | The chemical constituents of the oil obtained by hydrodistillation of pulverized leaves of Psorospermum corym-biferum (Hochr.) were analyzed for the first time by GC and GC/MS. A total of 18 compounds representing 76.5% of the total oil were identified. The major component found was β-caryophyllene (46.8%). Less predominant constituents included α-cadinene (3.4%), limonene (3.9%) and caryophyllene oxide (3.0%). |
