| Résumé : | The composition of the essential oil of the leaves of Plectranthus neochilus was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The oil of P. neochilus predominantly comprised monoterpenoids (77.5%) of which citronellol (29.0%), citronellyl formate (11.0%), linalool (9.8%) and isomethone (9.2%) were the major constituents. Furthermore, citronellyl propionate (3.4%) was the main sesquiterpene identified in the oil. |
