| Résumé : | Volatile oil constituents of Dionysia diapensifolia Boiss. (Primulaceae) were investigated by GC and gC/MS. Thirty-eight compounds representing 93.3% of the total oil were identified. Phenolic compounds were dominant in this oil and (E)-chalcone constituted 85.6% of the total oil. The identity of this compound was confrmed by 13CNMR. This is the first report on the volatile oil composition of a Dionysia species and chalcone and its derivatives are reported from this genus for the first time. |
