| Résumé : | The composition of the essential oil from leaves of Peperomia galioides HBK was analyzed by GC and combined GC/MS. Eighty-four constituents were identified which constituted more than 99% of the leaf oil. The major compounds in the oil were safrole (42.3%) and epi-α-bisabolol (29.2%). |
