O. Kuntze was analyzed by GC and combined GC/MS.
One hundred-fifteen constituents were identified which constitute more than 95% and 99% of the leaf oil and fruit oil, respectively.
The major compounds in the leaf oil were limonene (57.8%) and α-pinene (9.7%), whereas sabinene (24.2%), limonene (9.1%) and pinocarvone (9.7%) were higher in the fruit oil.DEWEY : 665 ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.jeoronline.com/archive/detail/42#top [article] Composition of the essential oil from leaves and fruits of margyricarpus pinnatus (Lam.) was studied by GC and GC/MS.
Ninety-seven constituents were identified, which constituted more than 92% of the leaf oil composition.
The most prominent compounds were limonene (30.7%), (E)-β-ocimene (20.8%) and β-elemene (11.3%).
The composition of the leaf oil was characterized by its richness in monoterpene and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons.DEWEY : 665 ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.jeoronline.com/archive/detail/42#top [article] Leaf oil composition of bursera graveolens (Kunth) triana et planch [texte imprimé] / Rolando Carmona, Auteur ; Clara E. A. DC. by simultaneous steam distillation-solvent extraction.
Compounds were identified by capillary GC/MS.
One hundred and thirty compounds were identified, with the major representatives being atractylone (12.7% of the total volatiles) and curzerene (11.7% of the total volatiles).
The significant amounts of neral and geranial, with their powerful lemon fragrances, contribute much to the typical fruit flavor.DEWEY : 665 ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.jeoronline.com/archive/detail/42#top [article] Volatile compounds of the fruits of sipharuna thecaphora (Poepp. et Endl.)
