Titre : Chemical constituents of essential oils from the leaves, stems and aerial parts of salvia virgata jacq. from Iran Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Robabeh Baharfar, Auteur ; Mahmood Tajbakhsh, Auteur ; Razieh Azimi, Auteur Article en page(s) : pp. 448-450 Note générale : Génie Chimique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Salvia virgata Lamiaceae Essential oil composition β-caryophyllene Sabinene (Z)-β-farnesene Hexadecanoic acid Index. décimale : 646 Résumé : Chemical composition of the essential oils obtained by hydrodistillation of the dried leaves, stems and aerial parts of Salvia virgata Jacq. was analyzed by a combination of GC and GC/MS.
Twenty-four components were identified in the leaf oil with β-caryophyllene (35.2%), (Z)-β-farnesene (10.1%), caryophyllene oxide (6.1%) and α-pinene (5.7%) as the main constituents.
Twenty-three compounds were characterized for the stem oil with hexadecanoic acid (56%) and β-caryophyllene (7.6%) as the major components.
Twenty-five compounds were identified in the aerial parts oil with b-caryophyllene (23.1%), sabinene (18.2%) and (Z)-β-farnesene (12.3%) as the main constituents.
Two oils (leaf and flowering aerial parts) consisted mainly of sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, while in the stem oil fatty acids predominated over monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes.DEWEY : 665 ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.jeoronline.com/archive/detail/42#top [article] Chemical constituents of essential oils from the leaves, stems and aerial parts of salvia virgata jacq. from Iran [texte imprimé] / Robabeh Baharfar, Auteur ; Mahmood Tajbakhsh, Auteur ; Razieh Azimi, Auteur . - pp. 448-450.
