Titre : Chemical analysis of the essential oil extracted from the seeds of licaria puchury-major Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Edgar A. Sanches, Auteur ; Graziella Trovati, Auteur ; Gilberto O. Chierice, Auteur Année de publication : 2008 Article en page(s) : pp. 191-192 Note générale : Génie Chimique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Licaria puchury-major Lauraceae Puxuri Essential oil composition Safrole Résumé : The essential oil from seeds of Licaria puchury-major was isolated by hydrodistillation. The chemical composition of the oil was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Sixteen compounds were identified, representing 91.4% of the total oil. The major components were safrole (58.4%), dodecanoic acid (13.7%) and α-terpineol (8.4%). Oxygenated mono-terpenoids were the main group of compounds. The essential oil composition was analyzed by GC and GC/MS.
The major compounds were identified representing 94.7% of the oil.
The most abundant compounds were isopinocamphone (cis-3-pinanone) (25.4%), limonene (15.1%), and guaiol (12.7%).DEWEY : 665 ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.jeoronline.com/archive/detail/42#top [article] Essential oil composition of aloysia gratissima from Brazil [texte imprimé] / Graziella Trovati, Auteur ; Gilberto O.
