The major components of the oil of S. asterocalyx were α-bisabolol (25.1%) and linalool (18.0%).
In the oil of S. obtusicrena, α-pinene (34.6%), germacrene D (8.0%) and bicyclogermacrene (7.8%) were found to be the major constituents.
Bicyclogermacrene (23.0%), spathulenol (20.7%), germacrene D (12.4%) and caryophyllene oxide (11.1%) were the predominant compounds in the oil of S. multicaulis.DEWEY : 665 ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.jeoronline.com/archive/detail/42#top

1,8-Cineole (16.8%), 4aα,7α,7aβ nepetalactone (16.3%), cis-sabinene hydrate (16.1%) and linalool (11.9%) were the main components among the 23 constituents characterized in the oil of Nepeta heliotropifolia, representing 92.8% of the total components detected. Twenty compounds were identified in the oil of M. mozaffarianii, representing 83.6% of the total oil, with 1,8-cineole (53.5%) being the major constituent.
The oil of Z. persica was characterized by high amount of pulegone (27.8%), neomenthol (22.5%) and p-menth-3-en-8-ol (18.1%) among the 34 components, comprising 94.7% of the total oil detected. All three oils were richer in oxygenated monoterpenes than sesquiterpenes.ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10412905.2006.9699109#.Uash_NgYrOk
