Titre : Double-input DC–DC power electronic converters for electric-drive vehicles—topology exploration and synthesis using a single-pole triple-throw switch Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Gummi, Karteek, Auteur ; Ferdowsi, Mehdi, Auteur Article en page(s) : pp. 617 - 623 Note générale : Génie électrique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : DC-DC power conversion Energy storage Multiport converters Index. décimale : 621.38 Dispositifs électroniques. Tubes à électrons. Photocellules. Accélérateurs de particules. Tubes à rayons X Résumé : Hybridizing energy systems using storage devices has gained popularity in transportation and distributed electric power generation applications. Traditionally, several independent power electronic converters (PECs) were utilized in such practices. Due to their reduced part count, double-input (DI) PECs prove to be a promising choice in hybridizing energy systems. A few topologies for multi-input converters have been reported in the literature; however, there is no systematic approach to synthesize them. Furthermore, all possible topologies are not completely explored, and it is difficult to derive new converters from existing topologies. Therefore, in this paper, a systematic approach to derive DI converters by using a single-pole triple-throw switch as a building block is presented.
