| Résumé : | The effect of foaming methods on the linear and nonlinear rheological properties is studied employing foams prepared from aqueous solutions of sodium laurate. It is found that the liquid-phase fraction of the foam prepared by a foaming net is significantly lower than that by a conventional mixer. Consequently, the foaming net provides a stable foam that hardly shows drainage. Moreover, the foam by the foaming net shows low storage modulus, whereas it exhibits high yield stress. As a result, it behaves as an elastic body in the wide range of the strain. Considering that aqueous foams such as facial cleansing are usually prepared by a foaming net, much attention has to be paid to the foaming method. |
