| Résumé : | The essential oil from seeds of Licaria puchury-major was isolated by hydrodistillation. The chemical composition of the oil was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Sixteen compounds were identified, representing 91.4% of the total oil. The major components were safrole (58.4%), dodecanoic acid (13.7%) and α-terpineol (8.4%). Oxygenated mono-terpenoids were the main group of compounds. |
