| Résumé : | The volatile components of Nepeta gloeocephala Rech. f. (Lamiaceae) grown in Iran obtained by hydrodistilla-tion of aerial parts was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Twenty-nine compounds, constituting 99.98% of the oil, were characterized. Among them 1,8-cineole (35.2%), β-pinene (21.8%), sabinene (7.8%), (E)-β-ocimene (7.1%), α-pinene (7.1%) and (Z)-β-ocimene (6.9%) were the major components of the oil, which was obtained in 1.3% yield. |
