Titre : Chemical composition of the essential oil from the herb of erigeron annuus (L.) pers Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Anna Lis, Auteur ; Justyna Mielczarek, Auteur ; Danuta Kalemba, Auteur Année de publication : 2008 Article en page(s) : pp. 229-232 Note générale : Génie Chimique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Erigeron annuus Compositae Essential oil composition Germacrene D β-caryophyllene Résumé : The essential oil obtained from the herb of Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers. harvested at four ontogenesis phases was analyzed by GC, GC/MS and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. More than 60 compounds were identified. Sesquiterpenoids constituted about 90% of the oil. Germacrene D (42.7–63.7%) and β-caryophyllene (9.0–15.9%) were the main constituents. The content of germacrene D increased until the flowering stage, however, the content of β-caryophyllene decreased at the same time. (syn. O. tenuiflorum L.f.), harvested in four stages of vegetation, were isolated by hydrodistillation and analyzed by capillary GC, GC/MS, and 1H-NMR. The 57 compounds, representing 90–94% of the oil, were identified after oil distillation under reduced pressure and separation by repeated flash chromatography. The content of the main constituents: β-bisabolene (13–20%) 1,8-cineole (9–33%) and methyl chavicol (2–12%) varied during development of the plant. Thirty compounds were identified, 16 of which were new for this plant material.
The predominant group of components were sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, among which the major were: b-elemene, d-cadinene and a-selinene.
By applying HS-SPME, it was possible to detect more compounds than by means of hydrodistillation.
Sesquiterpene hydrocarbons were identified both in hydrodistilled essential oils and those analyzed using HS-SPME, while monoterpenes and low boiling non-terpenes were detectable only by means of HS-SPME method.DEWEY : 665 ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.jeoronline.com/archive/detail/51 [article] Volatile constituents of seeds of nigella orientalis cultivated in Poland [texte imprimé] / Anna Wajs, Auteur ; Danuta Kalemba, Auteur . - 2010 . - pp. 232 - 234.
