| Résumé : | The volatile constituents of the aerial parts of Cyclotrichium strussii Bornm. growing wild in Iran have been examined by GC-FID and GC/MS. The oil was found to contain 19 components. Altogether, 18 compounds were identifed from the aerial parts of this plant, collected in its fowering stage. The oil of C. strussii consisted mainly of β-caryophyllene (16.9%), germacrene D (13.0%), borneol (8.9%), linalool (7.2%), α-terpineol (6.7%), caryophyllene oxide (6.2%) and bicyclogermacrene (5.2%). |
