| Résumé : | The essential oils obtained from the leaves and stems of Piper carniconnectivum C.CD., collected from the southern Amazon forest, Brazil, were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The major component of the leaf oil was caryophyllene oxide (21.3%); the components in the stem oil were spathulenol (23.7%) and α-pinene (19.0%). |
