| Résumé : | The essential oil of Cymbopogon microstachys produced from wild plants collected in the foothills of Manipur was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The results showed that the oil contained (E)-methyl isoeugenol (56.4–60.7%) as the major constituent. This is the first time that an oil of C. microstachys has been found with (E)-methyl isoeugenol as the major constituent. |
