The main objectives of this project is to investigate the following:
* The maintenance basic definitions, objectives, types and problems. * Maintenance management methods, organization structure and maintenance system documentation. * Reviewing some of the most recent transit buses maintenance planning and control literature. * A case study on Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO). The case study includes, beside the general analysis and the overview of the company, failure rate and average life of some sub-systems statistical analysis as applied to Inter and Intra-city service. The Intra-city service statistical analysis applies only for Riyadh area. |
