| Résumé : | This paper presents an analysis of a concentrated air-gap winding concept intended for low-cost, high-speed applications where the reduced winding construction cost can motivate its use. Expressions for magnet flux linkage, torque, winding inductance, and unbalanced magnetic pull are derived and compared, with good agreement, to measurements and results obtained from finite-element simulations. |
