Four groups were separately administered rosemary essential oil, aqueous extract, and crude plant powder. Such three parts of rosemary enhanced the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), and alleviated the peroxidation injury in vivo of hyperlipidemia rats. Plant powder showed better effect on decreasing blood lipids than aqueous extract and essential oil. Rosemary exhibited an obvious inhibitory effect on the increased serum TC and triglyceride (TG) levels, and an antagonistic effect on the increased lipid peroxidation level induced by high fat feedstuff, suggesting that rosemary has significant health benefits and could be explored for the prevention of hyperlipidemia diseases. To design a fault detection system for this application, a set-membership approach for static PWA systems is proposed, in which parallelotopic approximation of feasible parameter sets is adopted. An online algorithm is obtained to estimate bounds of uncertain transition points of the PWA model. Based on the estimation, a robust online fault detection algorithm is proposed. The robustness and sensitivity of the algorithm are analyzed. The effectiveness of these methods is finally confirmed through experiments.

The content and composition of the oil at each stage were notably varied. Twenty-eight compounds (> 0.1%) were identified as components by the analyses of GC and GC/MS. The main constituents were α-thujone (37.0–54.8%), 1,8-cineole (5.7–10.4%), β-thujone (8.6–10.7%), cis-chrysanthenyl acetate (7.2–23.5%), and sabinyl acetate (3.4–10.2%).
