| Résumé : | Mathematical correlations have been developed for describing the enthalpy of solvation of organic solutes into room-temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) based on the Abraham general solvation model with ion-specific equation coefficients. The derived correlations contain six cation-specific and six anion-specific equation coefficients that were determined through regression analyses. The derived equations correlated the observed enthalpies of solvation data to within a standard deviation of about 1.7 kJ/mol. The nine sets of cation-specific and eight sets of anion-specific equation coefficients that have been calculated can be combined to yield equations capable of predicting the enthalpies of solvation of organic solutes and gases in 72 different RTILs. |
