The suggested equations were found to be in sufficient agreement with the experimental values. The reactions were then simulated to reveal the chemical engineering characteristics, as well as the process performance under practical reaction conditions. It follows that the reduction of the H2O2 destruction rate is highly desired and the mass-transfer coefficient of H2 (kLa) must be dramatically raised from 560 h−1, the value observed in the present experiments, for practical application of the technology. The effects of total pressure and other parameters are also discussed.
