| Résumé : |
To solve the optimal power flow problem, two classical methods and the Dommel-Tinney approach are studied.
The specific objective is to develop a simple computer program for the D-T technique and examine its convergence and speed characteristics when compared to the classical methods. The optimization program used is capable of accepting quadratic cost functions and the load flow part includes transformer taps and static capacitors. The use of quadratic penalty functions is also investigated with reactive generation limits on voltage control busses. |
