Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) undergo complete dechlorination catalyzed by palladium and hydrazine hydrochloride as hydrogen donor, in a bath at 60 °C or at room temperature in a reactor with an ultrasonic radiation source. The life of the catalyst system was evaluated in several reaction cycles. |
