| Résumé : |
The interest given to the application of number theoretic transforms (NTTs) to digital signal processing has not ceased to grow.
Indeed, the last decade has seen an uninterrupted investigation into their utilization. In this thesis, a further inverstigation into their performance, in digital signal processing, is considered. A small contribution to the interpretation of the number domain, domain generated by the transform, is given and it is shown that NTT sequences present regular structures, especially in two dimensions, where examples of curious patterns of zeros are given. The processing of large pictures, without transposing the image array and without recourse to the sectioning techniques, is also considered. Finally, it is shown that NTTs performance in the adaptive field presents some very interesting results that make such transforms a definite candidate in digital signal processing applications. |
