Titre : Capacitive ultrasonic micro-transducer made of carbon nanotubes : Prospects for the in-situ embedded non-destructive testing of durability in cementitious materials Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Bérengère Lebental, Auteur ; Anne Ghis, Auteur ; Elisabeth Delevoye, Auteur Année de publication : 2011 Article en page(s) : pp. 649-662 Note générale : Génie Civil Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Non-destructive testing Cementitious materials Durability Micro-porosity Carbon nanotubes Ultrasonic transducers Microfluidics Elasto-acoustics Index. décimale : 624 Constructions du génie civil et du bâtiment. Infrastructures. Ouvrages en terres. Fondations. Tunnels. Ponts et charpentes Résumé : We put forward an innovative method for the non-destructive testing of durability in cementitious material. It is based on microporosity probing by high-frequency ultrasonic micro-transducers. We present elements of the realisation and the characterization of such challenging devices. Their design relies on the exceptional mechanical performances of carbon nanotubes. Modelling of the devices in a fluid environment provides a preliminary validation of their suitability for durability monitoring.
