Briq. and Satureja multiflora (R. et P.) Briq. (Lamiaceae) collected in Chile at full flowering stage were hydrodistilled. The yields of essential oils were 0.68% and 0.57% v/w, respectively. GC-FID and GC/MS analyses showed that the major constituents of the oils were piperitenone (57.8%) and isomenthone (83.1%) in S. darwinii and S. parvifolia, respectively.
