| Résumé : |
This project enabled the development of a general methodology for implementing control laws, which can be adapted and applied to other dynamical systems. Variable structure control methods are well-known control techniques recognized for their robustness against disturbances and parametric uncertainties. In this work, the Rotational Inverted Pendulum (RIP) system was used to valuate different control strategies. A linear approach (LQR) as well as three nonlinear methods (Sliding Mode Control, Hierarchical Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Control, and Backstepping) were eveloped and optimized using the Golden Eagle algorithm.
The comparison results show that variable structure control methods achieve superior performance in terms of dynamic response and robustness. |
