The axial dispersion profile of an inert tracer in a gas flow (superficial velocity from 0.01 to 0.3 m/s) is estimated by a robust deconvolution procedure. The axial Peclet number based on Φ is found to be on the order of 1. The results are in agreement with the literature data and can be compared with the available results for the standard fixed bed.
