Zdunić, Auteur Année de publication : 2008 Article en page(s) : pp. 363-365 Note générale : Génie Chimique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Salvia ringens var. baldacciana Lamiaceae Essential oil composition 1,8-cineole α—pinene Antimicrobial activity Résumé : Aerial parts of Salvia ringens Sibth. et Sm var.baldacciana Briq.(Lamiceae) collected in Macedonia contained an essential oil in 0.29% yield. The oil was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The dominant compounds of this oil were 1,8-cineole (33.8%), α—pinene (10.6%) and myrcene (9.8%). It was found that the oil possessed antibacterial activity against all examined bacteria and antifungal activity against C. albicans. The oil showed stronger inhibitory activity against Gram-positive than Gram-negative bacteria. Tasić, Auteur Année de publication : 2006 Article en page(s) : pp. 57-60 Note générale : Génie Chimique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Achillea alexandri-regis Achillea holosericea Achillea lingulata Asteraceae Essential oil composition α-pinene Borneol Terpinen-4-ol Spathulenol α-phellandrene epoxide Isopinocamphone Camphor Résumé : The composition of the essential oils from herbs of Achillea alexandri-regis, A. holosericea and A. lingulata was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The predominant compounds in the oil of A. alexandri-regis were: α-pinene (14.415.7%), isopinocamphone (5.4–23.5%), α-phellandrene epoxide (5.0–19.0%), borneol (3.6–7.7%) and spathulenol (1.4–9.7%). The major components in the herb oil of A. holosericea were: borneol (17.3–18.1%), camphor (9.7–15.1%), terpinen-4-ol (6.3–11.1%) and camphene (5.7–7.2%). The presence of borneol (23.0–40.7%), β-thujone (5.5–7.6%), bornyl acetate (3.5–7.8%) and sabinene (1.7–6.7%) was characteristic of A. lingulata herb oils. The presence of borneol in high concentration was a connecting property for the oil of all three investigated Achillea species, especially for A. lingulata and A. holosericea. On the other side, the low concentration (0.2%) of camphor was characteristic of the investigated samples of A. alexandri-regis and A. lingulata. Ristić, Auteur Année de publication : 2007 Article en page(s) : pp. 416-418 Note générale : Génie Chimique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Potentilla speciosa Rosaceae Essential oil composition Decanal Pentadecanal Résumé : The essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation from the air-dried herb of Potentilla speciosa Willd. was determined to be less than 0.1%. Chemical composition of the oil was determined by GC (FID) and GC/MS techniques. The main components of the oil were the linear aliphatic aldehydes (decanal, undecanal, pentadecanal) and linear aliphatic alcohols (undecanol, hexadecanol). In the terpene fraction, linalool (1.5%), hexahydofarnesylacetone (1.4%), olivetol (1.0%), geranylacetone (0.9%), borneol (0.7%) and alpha-terpineol (0.6%) were also found.
