Titre : Prediction of corrosion rate in reinforced concrete structures – a critical review and preliminary results Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : M. Otieno, Auteur ; H. Beushausen, Auteur ; M. Alexander, Auteur Année de publication : 2013 Article en page(s) : pp. 777–790 Note générale : Génie mécanique Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Corrosion propagation corrosion rate service life prediction Résumé : This paper presents a critical review of some of the available corrosion rate prediction models focusing mainly on chloride-induced corrosion. In addition to the proposals made for the improvement of these models, preliminary results of an ongoing study aimed at developing a chloride-induced corrosion rate prediction model using both natural and accelerated corrosion results are presented. Even though a reasonable correlation between natural and accelerated icorr is presented here, more data are still required to ascertain the relationship.
