The work presented in this thesis is concerned with the study of transport properties of solutions of alkali metal halides in glycerol.
The electrical conductivity has been measured between 315K and 183K at mole fractions .007470, .021494, .035309, .042447 of NaC1 and .0016843, .022430 of KCI.
Dielectric relaxation in glycerol and in the solutions have been determined between 196K and 183K and have been analysed in terms of the davidson-cole relaxation model. |
