Maire ex De Fillipps and subsp. lenkoranica (Knorring) Rech. f. (Labiatae) were analyzed using GC and GC/MS. Twenty-four components were identified in the leaf oil of subsp. pungens with germacrene D (31.1%), T-muurolol (11%) and α-pinene (7.1%) as main constituents. Twenty-six compounds were identified in the flower oil of subsp. pungens with germacrene D (39.2%), α-pinene (9.3%) and 2-pentadecanone (7.6%) as main components. Twenty-nine compounds were characterized in the leaf oil of subsp. lenkoranica with germacrene D (45.9%), α-pinene (10%) and α-copaene (3.2%) as main components. In the flower oil of subsp. lenkoranica, however, the major components among the 25 constituents identified were germacrene D (36.6%), α- pinene (21.3%) and β-bourbonene (5.9%). All oils consisted of monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes and aliphatic compounds. ISSN : 1041-2905 En ligne : http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10412905.2008.9699419
