Photovoltaic devicesIndex. décimale : D004286 Résumé : This work involved research on cadmium sulphide thin films prepared by the thermal evaporation technique and the fabrication and characterisation of cadmium sulphide/indium phosphide and cadmium sulphide/gallium arsenide solar cells.
The first step was a review of solar cells with special focus on heterojunction cells using cadmium sulphide as optical window layer.
The absorber, optical window layer and heterojunction requirements were reviewed and summarised.
